Environmental Policy & Law (Chapter 3: The Practice of Environmental Protection and Chapter 4: Envorcement)

Homework:

Read the Environmental Policy and Law Chapter 3 (& 4 in the 4th edition of the text). Be prepared to be examined on any or all of the environmental terms, concepts and cases below found in chapter 3 & 4 or in the section below.  If you have Edition 3 of the text, the Chapter 4 on Enforcement is missing so I want you to read Chapter II of EPA's Yellowbook and summarize that chapter in the homework as your substituion for answering the questions in Chapter 4 of Edition 4.

1. Answer the questions presented at the end of Chapter 3 & 4 of Environmental Policy and Law.
2. Thereater briefly describe in nomre than 200 words percase the issues at sake with two of the judicial cases presented below. In preparing for this assignment, you should review the link provided for this course to help you analyze case law.

   • Tahoe-Sierra Preservation Council v. Tahoe Regional Planning Agency,
