1. Review the topics discussed in the Marten text for this week and go to the "Things to think about link above and answer question 5.  Post your work in Canvas email.
2. What are the lessons to be learned for humans when considering human population growth, population/community and ecosystem ecology, ecological succession and feedback loops?.
3. Read the case study in chapter 15 from the Layzer book  - "Making Tradeoffs: Urban Sprawl and the Evolving System of Growth Management in Portland, Oregon." Then answer the "Questions to Consider" at the end of the case study and post these questions with your answers to Canvas email.
