John Knox was more than a reformer. He is the founder of what we know as Presbyterianism here in the U.S. and abroad. Moreover he was not just a reformer, he was the father of his nation - Scotland. If you are able read the entire book The LIfe of John Knox by Thomas M'Crie. This book give you an overview of the entire life and work of John Knox. If that task is to ornerous the read Gregory's "John Knox and the Reformation of Worship."

The videos "Knox" and "John Knox and the Birth of the Scottish Reformation," are short films designed to give a brief overview of Knox's life and work. "The Sword and the Cross" videos however are all part of a well produced doucmentary on Knox that you will want to see. These videos provide not only a look at Knox and his beliefs but also an insight into the historical context of the times.
